If you want colors, 4awg, if black is fine, like factory, then get the 2awg since its the same price. And why not gear? There is no such thing as too big of a ground.

well 4 gauge is plenty, 2 gauge is not necessary but prolly wont hurt anything. 0 is just a waste when most accessories in your car have 16-18 gauge wires. i think the biggest power wire is the main alternator feed. which i havent tested yet, but its a good idea to see how much voltage drop there is at the battery and then upgrade with a bigger power wire if needed.

okay i think im gonna go 4 gauge then
its a simple DIY correct?
gearbox do you have any better pics of your wires, i know where the one is its right infront of ur face when u pop the hood and look down. (engine/chassis) but battery/chassis and tranny/chassis im almost positive i found but idk how to replace it looks...idk different.

black, red, blue, and silver translucents in 4ga. 2ga and 1/0 are black non-translucent only.

the stock setup has one ground wire from battery to chassis to trans, its fine to replace it with two so long as you use the stock chassis point for both connections. so one side goes from negative battery to the chassis ground point, then another one from that same point to the trans.

yeah for the plain black with copper/tin terminals and standard battery clamp. PM me your paypal addy if you want the kit. I'm in Germany till Thursday, so it probably won't go out till next Monday, just for a heads up.

im doing the big 3 upgrade and got my kit from crutchfield. The Big3XS all 0 gauge 100% oxygen free copper. Most quality wires i have ever seen. It says the big 3 is Alternator to ground, Alternator to Positive Battery Terminal, And Battery to ground.

My question is, why do i have so many wires going to my positive battery terminal? I have one 4 gauge going inside to my amp. Then 2 more that are stock - coming from under-the-hood fuse box and somewhere by the motor. THen i need to add the 0 gauge for this big 3. THat will total 4 wires on my positive battery terminal. I already have a postive battery terminal with 4 holes in it, but one of the holes is not big enough. What do i do?

unless you upgrade to a high output alternator, you don't need to upgrade the alternator to battery cable, nor do you need anything larger than 4ga. Don't forget you have a tranny-to-chassis ground cable as well. I sell kits if you're interested.
