power door lock actuator

Hi Im new here, In read just about every thread i could find on power door lock on the civic 2002. I was able to isolate the problem thanks to the input on this forum.

I have to change the acuator, but this causes a bit of a problem, I couldnt find any guidelines on how to do this. Can anybody help. I am thinking the best way would be to take the complete lock out which unscrews from the door . Trying to remove the actuator by the inside panel, looks impossible as i cant see anything unless somebody knows how. Anybody help please,

never done one and alldata dont show a procedure. do you have the door pannle off yet?

Thanks for your reply. The site that you referred me to is exactly what i wanted. He explains everything in detail and I thought that this would be how to do it, but I wasnt sure about the details such as which rod to disconnect etc.
