The Whirring Sound

Alright....here it goes:

I got my cd player relocated to a new spot, and whenever I turn on my cd player auxillary to listen to DVD audio *watch movies*it makes a weird noise *like a very light static*. When I speed up and turn up the sound, the static noise grows louder as does a whirring noise. I talked to the installer and he says that all aftermarket cd players make the static noise, which I'm not sure is true since I never listened to it through anything other than CD or the FM radio. Can anyone help me with this? I hope I didn't confuse you guys too much. Thanx.
