when i check for anything else needed with installion i get this

Crutchfield includes a wiring harness, instructions, and I believe a dash kit for free with purchase of a headunit.
Our dash kit is really $imple (aka cheap).
That's why they say you don't need anything.

ask them what it comes with. you need harness and dash kit. and keyless was only an issue being tied to the deck on pre gen 2000 civics.
