just curious, you didnt think it would be alot easier/cheaper to just modify the stock stator? all you would really need is wire.

you could get a regulator that allows for 18 volts if youd like, but you cant adjust it, its giving volts or not giving volts, thats what the regulator decides.

Not enough room in the stock casing to really modify the stator, the only option was to go bigger

variable voltage on an alternator DOES exist. It's an option when you buy an iraggi alternator
