i'm gonna run the Alpine IVA-D310 for a bit, then look into getting the PAX and headunit to control it.

IVA-D310 doesn't have a surround sound processor, but with the onboard time-delay imaging controls and your equalizers, you should still have great SQ

catch ya later bro... time to get ready for work again

Finally got my new speakers in (shall post pics either today or tomorrow).
Focal Utopia Be tweeters in the A pillars (these tweeters were quite large, had to do a little glassing and vinyling to get them to look right). These tweeters sound amazing, very detailed and smooth, not harsh at all.
The midbass is in the doors, Focal K2P. Not as much midbass as my D9 components had, but the D9 had a beefy 7" that played pretty darn low, the Focals do compliment the Be tweeters well, so I'm happy. Just glad to have the kick panels out and a foot rest again

/\ I like the tweeters but they appear to be aimed down into the dash, but the install is great. The cd player just doesn't look right in the dash, it would look cool if you made that plate sit flush. Just my suggestions, but looks nice none the less.

I pointed the tweeters down on purpose, and believe me, they do sound fantastic. I didn't want them pointed at the windshield, but didn't want them pointed towards the occupants, I didn't want that in your face sound.
I agree with the CD player. The dash piece is the double din from the Special Edition Civic, I used to have an Eclipse AVN in it, but took the AVN out because the SQ wasn't good. If you notice the dash piece, the opening has a rolled edge, so its hard to flush something up to it. That piece of plexi I used is sitting on a lip where I guess the stock SE radio fits to. I'm planning on doing something a little nicer with the dash piece and radio, just have to find the time.
Here is a pic of the AVN in my Civic, looked really nice in there: http://slickssite.com/Car%20Audio/AVN.JPG

i have a full size (14" stock rim/tire from '00 Civic) spare... the entire center portion of my trunk floor is on linear actuators, so i smack a button and it flips up and over to access the spare

How about i don't have a spair at all. As my custom title states, i have a completely fiberglassed trunk so no spare or anything going in there. LOL, I went to ATL and just stuck a full size stock wheel and tire on the backseat and took it down just in case, good thing i did cause i got a flat. Good thing GIXXER on here was already in ATL at and bought me a new tire so when i got down there i could get it changed.

drew22mader I see you are from Portsmouth, Ohio if you don't mind me asking what area of Portsmouth. I grew up there and Still own part of the families Farm off of St Rt 73.

Also if any one has a sugestion for a good location for a center stage speaker other than the second din, I have a computer with a 7" Monitor in that location and not enough room to place a speaker there also.
