Eh ill take pics and list mine tomarrow...lol im still to lazy to finish it tho so its ugly
whenever you do something yourself it looks ugly imo, my system? whenever i look at it, i see whats wrong with it, not whats right. post some pics and i bet you'll get compliments. I do but only on the color
O i had everything done so far by a company, i got sick of doing all my own stuff....But untill i decide what all im going to do next i just need to lay down some carpit lol
sure, i've got kick panels (infinity reference coxal with kenwood tweets) powered off my clarion dxz855mp, and my kappa 6.5cs's wired with my sony xplod 6x9s (:barf: next thing to change) down to 2 ohms on my blaupunkt 500wrms. WHat deck are you running? and from what i've been told (my dad is a sound engineer) 6x9s aren't better for sq 6.5s are, especially components. A sound wave is round, 6x9s are oval, it's a bigger mass so it's loud, but a round speaker gives a cleaner sound wave and much more precise, hence why the square kickers are used for spl, not sq.
good to know, i think ill just remove the l-pad and run the front components off the amp (unless the l-pad somehow lowers the ohm load) and run the rears off the headunit or something.......ill decide sometime on how to configure whats run off what.
hey do you like ur infinity? my friend is thinkin about gettin one or two. how do they hit?
and u dont ask me? lol, infinity's are the best of both worlds in my opinion, practically perfect for sq, but when in the right box with the right amp, thy pound pretty hard too.

haha my bad. that's cool. i don't think my friend wants something that hits super hard. i'll let him know tho. thanks dude

Well, I guess bass depends on the individual. Some people like a lot of bass, some like a little. The sub is not earth shattering, but it does its job well.
My infinity sub hits pretty hard imo. I also think the bass is really clean as well. So it hits hard and clean, and again imo. These subs are really cheap in price too. I paid $70 cdn for mine, so that's like maybe $50-60 U.S. dollars.

yup, i had the same sub u do, gotta be careful with the right amp tho, cuz that year over-extends the leads and eventually they break. pay the 40 or so more to get the new year thats dvc and has a completely different magnet\frame\tinsel layout.

Well, if it breaks, I'll probably just get a new one. For now, I'll hold onto it until it blows, or until I get a new car.
