Who wants 10,000 points?? Read!!!

I will give 10,000 points to the first person with an 04-05 5spd who takes a few pictures of how the center console comes apart so i can add it to the DIY. All you have to do is start some scratch and take some good, clear, hi-res pics of the steps you have to take until it becomes the same as an auto, which is only like 1 minute worth of work.

Thanks in advance!!!

phuviano has a spectacular aura about phuviano has a spectacular aura about

This is how the shifter console should look with the 5spd.

Pull up on the shifter console area like how I am in the picture. You want to pull from inside the shiftboot area. You may want to pull with both hands. One hand on the left side, and one on the right side. Its easier if you do it with both. The only reason I have one hand in the pic, is the simple fact I used the other to take the pic..LOL..

After you pull the left and right sides up, the front and back should just come off. There is nothing but clips holding this area down.

You should be able to turn the area around the shifter sideways. Once this is done, you can follow the steps from the DIY for the auto, its exactly the same.

As you can see in the pic, its not necessary to take off the shift knob.

So Megahurtz?? where my points at?? LOL...

nope, unless you are talking about one of the short shift adapters, and not the revo ss. for the revo, you have to take it all apart to install, otherwise you cant get to the screws.
