HU Install and wirining harness

Ive searched and saw the DIY 03-04 HU install but I was wondering what is the difference between the manual and auto install???

I dont want to break anything (ie. the silver boot trim), my Alpine deck will be in probably tomorrow or friday and i'll install it friday afternoon, ive installed decks before no problem but all cars are different when it comes to removing the stock deck.

Also, for the wiring harness, i quickly looked at CT, is the wiring harness the 98+ Honda wiring harness?? is that the right one for our cars?

thanks, i cant wait to get it in!

if you buy the adapter then you just match the colors when you put the harness together, and no there is no difference between auto/manual installs

Yes its the 98+ honda one. That's the one I have.

I could explain how to do the install, but I'm pretty sure there's a DIY on the board.

I hope you buy or bought the nice installation kit (the one that lets you keep the factory pocket). Makes the installation look a lot nicer, and the deck doesn't really stick out that much.

Anyways, for starters, if you have a manual car. I can take pics on the first step tommorrow. That's the only difference from the DIY on this board.

I'm assuming you have a manual car, because the pics on this board only show an automatic.
