Well i just got some gauges, install them and works great with no hassle. But the problem is that the tape from the bottem keeps coming off when its gets warm from the sun. Just using regual double sided tape. Then the needles dont work cause the new gauges hit then and they dont stay on the bottem
I have opened it like 5 times and tired of it. Everyday, gets hot the tape gets loose.
ANy special idea's.???????? Help me

try using glue. Mine are glued on and I have never had problems. Once they stay down, the needles should work unless they are sticking in which you need to pull them back a bit.

i had the same problem when i was using some thick no brand name double sided tape. I then went to staples and got SCOTCH double sided tape. Make sure its just the regular thin kind. I placed about a few pieces of the scotch double sided tape on each indiglo thing and it never moved ever again. I don't recommend glue becuase what if you wanted to take them off later. Try that and let me know how it goes. it should work.

also make sure you get the regular THIN double sided tape. I had the problems of the needles hitting when i used the scotch 3M tape that was all thick. I know i was stupid.

Ebay is the best place for sure, got mine fo 25 bucks and they look good... I used double stick tape and had the same exact problem. used super glue and havent had a problem since. Make sure you dont get generic super glue though cuz some turn whiteish when it dries, not good cuz its kinda hard to get off...

why would anyone even think of putting glue on the back of their new gauges and stick it on your stock gauges?? i really don't get this. JUST USE SCOTCH DOUBLE SIDED TAPE. the REGULAR THIN KIND. there is no way your needles will hit it if you used the regular thin SCOTCH double sided tape. NO WAY AT ALL. its probably less than a 1mm thick. be sure its SCOTCH though, those double sided tapes are the best imo.

i hope you guys that used the krazy super glue on the gauges never have their gauges go out or i really do think its going to make it very hard to take off, and not to mention the glue that is going to be left on your stock gauges.

The tape works man doulble sided. But it gets lose you know the hot weather, and than it lifts from the bottem.

Had the same problem with mine... Got tired of having to constantly take apart my gauges so I just took them off and did a cluster swap from an 04 sedan.
