what infinity 6x9s fit in 01 coupes?

I checked crutchfield already and they are listing the brand new 692.7i fits the rear deck for my coupe. I just wanted to know what other infinity 6x9s will fit w/o major modifications. A few months ago before the 692.7i came out crutchfield listed the 692.5i as the 6x9s that fit the rear deck.

I was reading the official 6x9 thread I found doing a search and someone said that 692.5i does not fit well. So, whats up with the contradictory statements about the speakers?

Can anyone set me straight on this?

ok, so if they hit would adding a spacer help? I want to get 692.7i, but theyre pretty pricey for me, and the 692.5i are much cheaper now. Where do I get a spacers if I need them?

dunno if spacers will help, wouldnt a spacer bring it lower? and make it hit more? if you want them, just take the bars out. the only thing that will happen is your trunk wont stay open. they are just there to keep the trunk open. you can buy a air strut thingy cheap and install it.

I have speakers with huge magnets and they fit. I just had to pull the bar down a little when I put them in but then it went back to its place. Currently the speaker is sitting right on the bars... but it doesnt effect it at all and u can fit ANY SPEAKER in that location.

No a spacer is a poor idea. It doesnt even make sense. We r short on space and the spacer would just take up more space.

U can get speakers anywhere.... Any website online, anystore, anywhere....
