Exclamation 15" Flat Panel TV Monitor, Bolt-In Brackets available

whatup everyone, new member here and fairly new civic owner (6 months into an 05 auto 2dr coupe). gotta say that the civics rock on.

anyways, i've made a bolt-in (bolt-on) adjustable brackets for pretty much any flat panel up to 19". the pictures show a 15" lcd installed, jacked into a laptop and xbox with a keyboard, mouse, and wireless internet for 24/7 internet access. add a powered omni antenna and you've got 5-10 miles of wireless access.

Mod edit: no soliciting

I don't know if this would bring up any legal issue's here. I had enough trouble hiding my indash screen up while driving (when I had it) from the cops. A 15" monitor in your car, now that's something really hard to be discreet about.

Seems like a really great and innovative idea though. Seems a little dangerous to the driver though. I'd be looking at that screen allday long...LOL. Imagine watching porn on that screen and driving...haha.

Anyways, not trying to put you down. I do really think its a great idea, just doesn't seem safe to me. Plus it may or may not be legal.

why wouldnt it be safe...it doesnt have to be on while u drive but when ur sitting in a parking lot or on a road trip a passenger can play/work with it...well here in socal we wouldnt have too much of a problem as long as its not on while driving...flip ups are so common here that cops dont give a rats ass about them being up and on...but if u get pulled over for somehting else and u piss off the pig than its something else they can write u up for

but the problem is, for you as an individual, Shifty, is that you're the exact type of person to give a **** about what other people think. i don't. if you dig my shit, cool. if not, do your own thing. we can all acheive things in peace.

but if you opt to point out your negative opinion, the fact of the that matter is that you can't even post a picture on a website, as noted in text by yourself in your own profile. good going, jackass.

here's some more pics

bolts right into the same lower and upper glovebox mounting points. each monitor requires a bracket with 4 bolts perpendicular like in the picture. wanted to make it easily adjustable for tilt in all directions, then you double lock the back nuts to keep things secure. still working on adding a third support to extend from the dash (drill in) to the top of the monitor for extra rigidity

still looking for a small usb one-handed keyboard, and installing a trackball sometime this week...
