Anybody put an oversized speaker into their front door?

Maybe like an 8" or 9" driver into the factory location........ details are nice

it could be done, but you would have to do some custom fiberglass work and make a place for it in the door panel. just wondering on how long the door panel would stay on before the clips give becasue of the added weight.

I am fully aware that it can be done. I know a guy at a rival shop that has it done in his sedan, but I am not going to go in there and ask to see it.

not that oversized but i do have bigger ones in the front where we had to make a mount for it and everything...

i could ask my dad for some details on the mount but it was a pain in the ass, thats all i remember
