the visors are like maybe 1/4" or so thicker, not that much really, they barely hang down at all

man are you retarded? i just said they were thick. and close to a 1" is thick for visor tv's... WHOLE POINT FOR VISOR TV IS THAT THEY HAVE TO BE SLIM.. GET IT??? if you think i am wrong ask you audio shop.

I work for an audio shop

Find me a slimmer monitor

btw, 3/4" isn't almost an inch when thickness is important. that's like 33% more thick. add another 1/4" to that monitor and that is a lot to add.

here mine is right around 3/5. That's with visor and tv. your is just the 3/4 for the tv then the mounting and visor. so mine is practically less then half.
