im still trying to figure out if theres really any difference between the DEH-P8MP and DEH-P80MP. there both pioneer models that look exactly same too.

one may be a 2004 model and the other 2005 model

the DEH-P8MP is a premier deck so it comes with a 2 year warranty, rather than the regular one year you get with regulare pioneer decks. The DEH-P8MP also has 6.5 volt pre-outs, while the DEH-P80MP has 4 volt pre-outs.

I would just get the premier, its usually just a little more in cost, and you get an extra year of warranty.

I have a pioneer premier deck, and I'm satisfied with it. I still have over a year of warranty left, I feel so secure about that.

which of the two would perform better? im guessing the 6.5v (premier)?

idk about warranty, but i plan to get a deck off eBay or elsewhere.

Good guess, yes the 6.5v would probably perform better.
