amp: hifonics brutus bx1000
4 gauge amp wiring kit'
batcap 800 or optima yellow top
and definately the "big 3" upgrade
sounds like you want that SPL, heavy bass, etc, 2 good 15" subs, 1 RE XXX 15" or even 2 good 12" woofers can do the job. |
dude, have you been stalking me?...in my first setup i had an Alpine deck, the pair of S12L7s, a "custom made enclosure built to specs", Hifonics BX1500D, 4ga amp kit, BatCap 800, Optima Yellow Top, AND the Big 3 upgrade...haha...nice to see that you would have approved...

also could someone tell me exactly what i should look
for in a cd deck for best quality.
i read something about mosfet,
and having three pre-outputs.
are panasonic decks any good?
i havent found anything in search... |
Optima Yellow Top is a deep-cell battery that will replace the stock battery and definitely help with your electrical issues (mostly when playing the system with the engine turned off)...BatCap 800 is a battery/capacitor hybrid that KICKS A$$...search for one on eBay and read the specs for more info, and i DEFINITELY recommend buying one...
MOSFET is short for "metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor" if i remember correctly...just means that the internal amplifier is more efficient than a non-MOSFET amp...
"3 outputs" has already been explained above...definitely recommended because you can individually control bass/treble to each set of speakers (front/rear/subs) instead of affecting all the speakers at the same time (for example, you can turn the bass to your subs without turning up the bass in your door speakers and blowing them)
and i love Panasonic decks...i've had 2, and i love them both...and if you have a Civic sedan, the Day/Night faceplate glows blue like our gauges do, and it looks bada$$...and if you buy any of the Hifonics amps, the Hifonics logo on the front lights up blue, so all your $hit will match

...the model i currently have is the MXE CQ-C8400U, which you can get from Crutchfield.com right now for $249.99...if you decide to buy this from Crutchfield, PM me first and i'll send you a code to save you some money when you order it...here's a pic of the dash/head unit/L.E.D.s/etc...good luck with your system!
