How to cut steel to widen holes in coupe doors

Ok guys, I bought some speakers that crutchfield SWORE would fit in my front door, but after removing the stocks, there is NO WAY in hell they will fit the hole. What can I use to cut the steel to widen the hole. I tried just bending it a little with a hammer, to no avail. Just a lot of noise. Help please.

what works if you dont have proper electric metal shears is a jig saw with a fine metal cutting blade on it just make sure your windows are rolled up....it can be done with regular hand shears but it's pretty tough metal to cut by hand
