i recently had my car repaired and the shop disconnected my battery. by doing this i think they engaged the anti-theft system for the radio. does anyone know how i can get the reset code for free? i bought the car used and it didnt come with code. i also dont want to shell out $90 for the dealership to give me the code. can anyone help me?

Rep Power: 0 they should give u the code for free... wtf. There is no other way of getting it besides the person you bought it from or the dealership.

Rep Power: 0 Gah. My dealer gave me the code when I bought the car. I've kept it with other important documents, and made use of it a few times already (first battery died after just over a year).

Rep Power: 0 same here called one dealer the one I bought the car from he said I had to come in so they could get a coppy of my dl called another in town and he gave it to me over the phone no questions asked who would steal a stock radio when others are better and easer to nab
