I just called about ordering the ample audio 414x amp, they said that it cost 289.00. Thats seems really expensive, I was told by someone here on 2k1 that ample audio was a cheaper alternative, without sacrificing quality. Does anyone know anything about them?

I have an A410x and it works great. are you sure that's the right price not the retail?? try <a target=_blank href="http://www.redime.com/ample.html">Redime</a>, they have it for 199.99 shipped and 289.99 as teh retail price.
