I was wondering if I have a switch inside my car, and I need to tap it to a power source, would it be safe to tap into the one of the power wires on the ECU (the yellow and black ones on connector A)?? Thanks a lot

Rep Power: 0 I wouldn't mess with any wires going into my ECU unless you want that *ish* to fry. Think about it, the circuit is on a fuse, you add to the draw on that fuse. You pop the fuse, car dies. There is a surge in the wire, ECU dies. Either way, not worth it. Just tap into the wire for the 12V supply in the dash, above the cupholder. Less of a chance of frying anything.

Rep Power: 0 Thanks a lot, I haven't opened up the dash near above the cupholders, yet, so if anyone has a pic of that lying around so I know what to look for, it would be much appreciated, thanks a lot.
