Question 2010 LX: Replace Unit head or Stock Speakers?

Just bought a 2010 LX coupe, love the car…but the stock stereo blows!! For a quick fix, is it better to replace the speakers or the unit head for better sound? I wouldn’t want to spend more than $300. Any advice on which to replace or a combo that seems to work?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I'd say speakers, amps and sub.
