Jack stand position

I have a 2015 civic and I was wondering where a good jack stand position would be. Would it be ok to put jack stands under the pinch welds where the jack points are?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Jack stand position

The jack points (the thick tabs that hang slightly lower than the pinch weld seams) are usually safe as long as there's not much tilt (so the stands can't slide out from under the car, or vise-versa).....but depending on your needs other places may also be suitable (subframe).
