Personally, HOCKEY rules!! Nothing is better than watching my favourite team kick some a$$ during the playoffs (Canucks are gonna tame the Wild on Wednesday night). But the only NBA team that i followed was when the Grizzlies were in Vancouver. HAHA, Memphis can keep them!
pfffft hockey blows compared to basketball hmmmm 100 point games with some of the most amazing athletes in the world or 4 point games and a game thats pretty slow compared to basketball.
even the hockey highlights on espn kinda suck even if your not interested in basketball you have to admit the highlights you watch on sports shows drop your jaw every once in a while.

the good hockey highlights are the fights. very rearely do i see a hockey highlight that induce a "wow" outta. you see those types of plays in the nba all the time. unless you live in denver and gotta watch them play.
I played both basketball and hockey in high school and gotta say the athletes in hockey carry a heck of alot more skill then basketball. but when it comes to playoffs i gotta stick with hockey. the only time i watch basketball is when the finals come around or a good series like spurs and lakers come around. the hockey playoffs this year have been amazing. never seen so many overtime games played.
even espn did a poll on this and i think 60% picked hockey over basketball. but hey, everyone likes their own thing right?

i played hockey for about a year when i was younger its not nearly as fun to play as basketball in hockey you need alot more eqiupment to play nets , puck , sticks , skates in basketball you need a ball and a hoop and only 2 players and let the fun begin.
ummm. i was one of that 60% and im southern. lol. but yeah it is alot easier to play basketball but hockey just takes alot more skill to play. almost anyone can run up and down a court dribbiling a basketball but how many people can skate up and down the ice at 30 mph handling a puck and keeping your head up making sure you dont get the snot knocked out of ya. lol
i have nothing against basketball. i enjoyed playing it back in middle and high school and even winning a state championship my sophomore year. i just feel people dont respect hockey as much just because its a canadian sport. i know a ton of people down here in south carolina that call me a damn yankee or canuck for playing hockey and im born and raised here. oh well. this is just all my 2 cents. everyone can think what they want
The NHL dominates the NBA. Basketball licks my balls, its so boring to watch, its a girl sport. Hockey is fast paced (besides all the yankee teams trapping), hard hitting, entertaining sport to watch. I like PLAYING basketball, but theres is no way in hell you can even compare basketball playoffs to the NHL playoffs, stupid yanks.

50 of those points are free throws. theres to much crying in basketball. Hockey may not have as much scoring but it is a faster paced game with less stopage and more fun to watch

i disagree i have played hockey and i dont know why your trying to make it look like a hard sport to play and it takes more skill to play. o yea kaizen congrats on being a idiot
