Yeah... It was time to cut your losses and find someone thats into (only) you and makes you happy. There is no need to yell. Ever. Its just unnecessary and gets nothing accomplished. Did you ever get that burger?

Yeah I got the guac bacon 6 dollar burger from carls jr, totally made me feel like shit after wards with the criss cut fries and milkshake- I never eat fast food.
Anyways... I was at albertson's (food store for all those not famil) today shopping, raiding the meat isle for some serious dinners this weekend... My phone started ringing in my basket. Long story short, I got invited up to the firm's office in Portland for a second round interview!! I was amazed kuz I not only thought the interview went shitty... but well, hell I was just surprised. I got home and started calling professors to juggle my midterms (3 in a row- wed, thrus, fri) so I could make it for the interview. Its a 3 hr interview. First you go out with staff members for coffee or lunch and then you come back and have two interviews with either a manager, senior manager, or partner/shareholder. Some seriousness, but it should be all good. I hope I get a lunch, haha, coffee messes with my stomach.
Haha... I dunno, its still pretty damn selective. For the position they are hiring from at least 4 of the largest universities in Oregon (Univ. Oreg, Oreg State Univ, Portland State Univ, Univ of Portland) and there are a lot of people that applied... a hand full of them got interviews... I'd say 40... who knows how many people got second round interviews. I'd say maybe 12 (3 hours of interview @ 3 ppl per day, for 4 days). From there, about 1/3 of the people will be hired.
So even if I dont get the job, I still consider myself really proud to come this far. It would be a great fit for me, really close to my friends and my family, and I could live at home like I had hoped for at least a year to build my savings. From there I could put a downpayment down on a house or condo in the downtown portland area so I could just walk to work every day. As it is, my parents house is only about a 20 minute drive from the firm.
I know a lot of people dont want to live at home when they get done w/ college, but really... I'll be studying for the CPA exam for the next year really hard core- I wont be going out much and having much of a social life, so there isnt any reason I'd benefit by having my own place (aka: hey gurlie, this is my place.... this is my bed)
I think its all good. What I need to find out though, is whats up with a second interview with public accounting firms... is it still business professional, or is it business casual or what... I kinda dont know at all. At the same time we'll be going out and having coffee, but I'll also be in front of the senior managers, partners, and shareholders.
So today... I'll be heading to the library to read, and read and read and read.. midterms next week arent fun. Maybe I'll catch that max payne movie tonight- anyone seen that?

not to sound metro sexual or nothing
but what i do in inviews for school and what not is a white button up dress shirt tucked in, black suit jacket, with black slacks. no tie. professional enough to say "hey, im a buisness man", but casual enough for coffee.
congrats on the 2nd round interview and good luck

I was in full on business suit, the shiny square front black shoes with black socks too. Crisp button up with collar buttoned at the corners... winsor tie... it was clean. With accounting you want to dress your best for the interview. I was sitting down with partners so you want to exhibit that you can clean up well and give a professional look and represent the company's good image when out at client locations.
I think the interview went good. Lunch was amazing- some fancy resturant. I had a chibata sandwhich- hand made bread buttered and toasted with sundried tomato paste, moist chicken breast and some sause that was really damn good.
My interviews went well too. Unfortunately one of the partners I met and interviewed with was sick and wasnt really all there at the interview, I'm hoping this doesnt hurt me. Gerr!! I hope I get the job, but I'm having doubts now. =(
been with my GF for 4 years... met her when i was 15 and now we are both in college... it aint bad. we have our own apartment, and have alot of fun together.
sure she gets on my nerves alot, ESPECIALLY when it comes to me wanting to do stuff to my car and she tries to talk me out of it... but hey, she loves me, and i love her, and i couldnt be happier.
AND SHE'S HAWT AS HELL! lol
btw, good luck with the job thing. my most important job so far is working in an O.R.... all i had to do was show up in scrubs and show em my qualifications and i was doing surgeries in less than a month... lol

^ post a picture of your GF, lets see what she looks like. "HAWT" is a strong word.. but shit, your a surgon, so your probably pulling supermodels on accident half the time
The only one worth remembering was the when I walked away from her. Fuck that shit. Single life rocks more... kicked it with 4 sorority chicks on the weekend, they tryed taking me back 2 their house to do who knows what... didnt go, was so piss drunk I pissed on a portapoty instead of in it.. whatevz. Shit was fun.
It all depends on the terms of the relationship.. I cant see getting back together with any of my chicks. I mean shit, we broke up for a reason. If you dumped them you were sick of them.. and what, now your nuts needa bust and your thinking of you'r ex's... easy shit right there, u know what to say to get back with them.. but the terms arent right, so it wont last.
I mean shit... if the girl dumped you tho, and you worked on yourself and you think your ready to get back and be a good bf.. then yeah it can work.
I dont know... whats your situation that your thinking of?
I gotta female friend, her bf..ex... whatever... i dont know, wasnt treating her right but she loved him so she was sticking around... I dont know.. I thnk its messed up kuz he isnt going to change anytime soon ya know......unless he knows whats up... she gave him a hint and he started thinking I was the threat and thought I was tryna tap that... I stepped in... peep my myspace-- www.myspace.com/imtriz and liten to TREAT HER RIGHT
i say if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. ex's are ex's for a reason. if u can patch shit up and u really like the chick, swallow ur pride and make it work.
