sucks to be this guy

i was just at gas station putting air in my spare, and i notice a loud sound, like a flower pot breaking. looked out in the road and saw lots of chunks on the road and cars were just running it over. so i finish putting my tire back and go out to check. when i picked up the pieces, it was someone's oil pan. i even saw a big chunk of the gasket. so i picked most of the big pieces up before someone blew a tire out. im still not sure what happened, if the whole pan fell or just alot of it broke off. cause i still didnt see any bolts, just big metal chunks from the pan. ouch, someones gonna need a new motor soon.

dang that sucks. that reminds me some dude came to our skatepark showing off his new (old) 300zx or whatever nissan. drifting around a corner, lost control, hit the curb, popped both front wheels and put a hole in the oil pan. lol.

That is rather odd. Perhaps he hit a curb, or asphalt at an angle. One time my Dad's old v8 car was driving along and his whole muffler just fell off. Funny.

Wow... that totally sucks for that guy. Most likely he's only notice the engine overheat when it's too late. Back when I was 16 or so, I had a toyota tercel, and I didn't think I had to do anything to it but "point and shoot." So I was with my friends, and one of them noticed my oil light was on, and I'm like "Oh that, that's no big deal." What a n00b he was thinking that the oil light meant something.

So I get out of school like 2 days afterward, and I'm going up this really steep hill, and my car starts to bog and then smoke. Yeah, the engine block blew a big chunk of metal out. I don't know, I feel like if I were a dad, and I gave my kid a car, I would emphasis the importance of having oil in the car, and many other things. I wasn't told shit. "Here are the keys son." It's like wtf? He got super pissed and beat me.

But back to what you were saying. Yeah, I recall going down the highway when they were doing construction on one lane, and there was a fucking boulder in one of the open lanes. It was almost a foot high off the ground! A BIG ASS ROCK. Holy shiiiiit I thought. It fell off one of the trucks. In fact, now that I think about it, I might have seen it fall off the truck, but I'm not sure.

i picked up so much crap off the roads in the last week. someones bumper styrofoam had fallen off, and that stuff is very hard and strong. i think it mightve caused some problem if someone hit it. i see glass all the time on the streets, sometimes theres bottles rolling around or buckets and stuff. im thinking wtf, this is like a garbage dump.

Reminds me of this guy with the latest generation prelude. He had that really sweet blue color on it. He went around the curb thinking the car has infinite turning ability, and totaled his car completely. What's up with people who have no racing experience thinking they can race? Just because you beat Gran Turismo doesn't mean you know how to drive.

I don't notice that here in Reno. Back when I drove a volvo down to New Jersey, I noticed that the more eastward you go, the more filthy it is. I would never move back east.

Lowering your car sucks, makes it look imbalanced imo. Aesthetically I mean. You don't see cars like the Skyline going that low, or even exotic sports cars.

Re: sucks to be this guy

hahaha and today at work we were standing outside, and there is a small dip in the road just before the traffic light, a slammed 350z scraped like a mofo we saw the car bounce and smack down on the ground lol. i think lowered cars look good but not if its slammed. the 8thgen civics have a good ride height imo. having monster wheel gap doesnt look that great either

Re: sucks to be this guy

mainly wheel gap and handling is all that lowering a car solves in my opinion. any other reason is silly... unless it's a hotrod that needs to be slammed on bags. that's great
