Since this place is boring, check out my new watch.
I saw a thread on another forum I frequent about a new sponsor from a jeweler. As he was having a sale solely for members of the forum and previous clients of his.
A box came for me the other day. I wonder what could be in it...
Nice little hand-written thank you note was there on top of everything.
Never heard of chocolate covered sunflower seeds, but a nice touch. Maybe they're a Texas thing?
Oh, sweet! Another box!
And another!
And...
Tah-dah.
I'd wanted an F1 for a while to use as a daily wearer/semi-beater. Thanks to my guy, one came for me.
It's nothing special in the world of watches and was, by far, the least expensive timepiece he had on sale, but I'm happy with it for now. I haven't yet decided if I'm going to keep it though.
If anybody wants any info on this watch or a reference for a great Authorized Dealer of many brands of high-end timepieces (among other jewelry) feel free to ask.

It's an addiction man! I've got a few other cool ones...
This is the only one of its model in the United States and one of two in North America. As I understand it, they will not be sold in North America for at least 18 months.
I took this to poke fun of people who feel the need to toss unnecessary luxury items into pictures.

Thank you
I paid... well under list. I'd rather not say numbers as this was a one-time deal and not open to the general public, but I will say this - I paid a hair under the lowest I could find it online. The main thing is, though, that I bought through an Authorized Dealer which means I will have zero issues activating and using the warranty (if something were to arise). Often, due to the huge fake market for higher end watches, companies will not honor a warranty unless sold through an Authorized Dealer. It blew my mind that companies would bother to fake this watch though as it retails for under $1,000 and often sells for $700ish.
If you're interested in it, I'd be happy to meet you somewhere to see it in person (I noticed you're in Southern Illinois).
