I didn't realize before that there are soo many reasons to buy a watch. Most people buy them because they want something that looks decent and tells them the time.
There is a whole other world out there where people buy them because of their style, or history, some of them are retardedly impractical, but people wear them for the statement they make. I'm not just talking Rolex, I'm talking the dozens of other companies that many people will tell you are wayyyyy better than Rolex. Rolex seems to be more about the bling factor rather than the style and history. Watchmaking is actually considered by most to be an art. They will tell you that mass produced products like Timex, Fossil, etc are to watchmaking what APC is to performance parts.
