I haven't been around as long as summa yall but I do remember when 7thgen was around. when I think about it, i don't even know how I came across it. And now I'm here posting like all the damn time! How did this happen!? Ha ha Whatev.
I think this forum is kinda slow. but that's not a bad thing necessarily. I hate it when I go to other boards and I leave for one day and there are like two extra pages to a thread. Sometimes I just don't feel like reading through all that!
Edit: HA HA HAHA HA!!!!1 Holy crap, If you click on the rank page, it looks like were just a few sites ahead of the "Early retirement" forum! HA! oh geez....
Me and a friend were talking about this the other day (by the other day I mean a long time ago). Ish. Right now, the 7thgen isn't that incredibly hot as a tuner car because there are so many 5th and 6th gen cars on the road and so many B- and D- series motor swaps and performance parts. In 5-10 years, when K-series motors are more prominent and available for cheap, traffic on sites like this are going to jump up, because the interest is going to jump up. Then we can all be like, yeah, it's whatever. We've had these cars forever and know them inside and out.

At least, that's one theory.
You weren't here for the Hayday for 7thgen between I would say 2002-2005ish. Then Derek sold the site and it went down hill. It was hoppin then. Yes, some of us have been here that long.
But I do agree with your point because the design of the car (suspension and engine) wasn't tuner friendly.

I kind of agree. I bought my car with the intention of a motor swap. When the engine prices go down more, this site might have more traffic. Right now, type R motor's are a little cheaper than they were. Not by much though, but they have package deals with tranny's and everything included.
