Hey, I'm thinking about taking the Mensa qualifier exam on January 20 but I'm worried about failing it. So if I do, there's another way to be accepted and that's to provide a high enough IQ test score done by a recognized person/institution. Does anyone know which kind of institution I can contact to get a IQ test done? Like are they done at a university or something? Or are they next to mom and pop's corner store down the block?

You need to pay a psychologist, most likely a school psychologist to do one. They are pretty expensive. The online IQ tests are NOT STANDARDIZED and are not going to help you build a case to get into Mensa. You need to take a WAIS or a Standford Binet (or something similar). You can find out a few ways on who can give one to you.

1) Go to a local university and ask the guidance counselor or school psychologist who they know that gives IQ tests.
2) Call local psychologists and ask them.
