How to get free money.... Seriously (Rant)

WAKE THE F*** UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE! <soapbox speech> I work in a financial institution and see all kinds of funds. As we all know, financials institutions pay interest based on how much money you keep in the account... I work for a financial institution which pays considerably higher interest rates (In a lot of cases) then other places. Which is great, however I saw some numbers which REALLY made me think. You might think I'm crazy, because these numbers are so large, but I've seen them in action with my own two eyes.... If you have 850,000.00 Dollars in an account that earns 5.00% APY(4.889%div)- read closely because this is where it gets interesting, and you leave that account and do nothing over a period of SIX MONTHS.... the banks will pay you on average 3,695.00 dollars a month in dividends!!!! Do you understand what this means? It means the bank will GIVE YOU MONEY for DOING NOTHING, just simply keeping your money at that institution will allow you to make money. Let me put this into perspective for you: The US Census Bereau determined the average household income to be 46,000.00 dollars give or take a bit. 365 days/7 = 52 weeks in a year 52/2 (a lot of jobs pay every two weeks.) = 26 paychecks a year. $46,000 / 26 = Approx $1770.00 PER PAYCHECK Therefore the average American income is approxamately 3,540 PER MONTH. Which means, You can make the salary of an average american by doing nothing if you already have money. Did I get my point accross to you yet? Society is a CLOSED system! It's a catch 22!!!! If you already HAVE money you can MAKE money. But if you don't have money you can't make it. You'll earn like 4 cents on a 1,000 dollars deposit. Alright alright, what does this have to do with smelling coffee, or waking up. Imagine what you could do with an EXTRA 3600 dollars a month on top of your regular salary, and I'm not talking about spending it on cars, vacations, or jewelery. I'm talking about making payments on a new house, or being able to fix your car when it breaks down and not have to ask someone else to borrow money. I'm talking about getting the things you need done first, and then still be able to get the things you want to get done. It's absolutely unbeievable how people just sit around and horde their money? Does that make sense? Ok if you don't have kids and already have 4 cars a yacht and two vacation homes, then what do you do? Frickin donate some to a charity or something, CMON! I'm not saying that i'm looking for or want a handout from anyone. I'm saying that we as a world can accomplish so much more if we THOUGHT first about what to do rather then just kept it all, right? </soapbox speech>

Ha ha, seriously! ME TOO!

Although it makes me think sometimes, I've seen people throw around/talk about/make transactions for LARGE amounts of money like it's nothing.

If you want to be astonished even more about the financial situations in The United States, read the Wikipedia article:

It's a HUGE article, but certian things will amaze you such as:

-Roughly one third, 32.5%, of all income in the US was earned by those households with an income over $150,000!

That means that over 30percent of ALL income was made by people earning 150k and more! AKA the gap between the poor/middle class and the wealthy is tremendous!
