Battlefield 2 Addiction thread...

Well I have been playing the mutliplayer map and I am seriously hooked as hell... I played it for 4 hours!!!!!! I have never played a game for 4 hours straight in my life accept Grand tourismo 4 of course!
Im hooked so bad on it its crazy......
The squad mode owns... If you join a squad with Team Speak and they are all really good, you can devistate the battleground with coordinated attacks.
A commander can order the squads to each location and he can choose what squad is best for what job by Ranks..
ranks are sweet and important. The higher the rank the better outfitted you become, guns armor etc!!!
I play with two squads on server that has more than decent members
There is Delta force witch is a Spec ops squad and Bravo which is a multi purpose squad. Fallowed by armor battlions and basic infantry.
Playing with my Delta buds - 2 of the guys I was playing with by the way are US army rangers and a squad is 6 people. The commander sends us on what would be considered sucide missions. lets say this senario which happend. Our squad was deployed from a black hawk heli to destroy the enemy commanders radar and gun installations... lesser target of value is capturing points.
So we take a black hawk into battle and get shot down about halfway through after our flares run out. The pilot dies.. he than can spawn from the squad leader..
Squad commander leads us through the lakes were we encounter a t90 tank, the members are ordered to set distraction as I run up and place explosives on the tank detonating it. We than proceed to the base in stealth, our target is not bodies but Artillery... We plant the explosives under via "team speak" of our squad leaders command and wreak havok until we are Evac out of the area.. we are than quickly prompited by a marker on the map that the field Commander places for our squad to move in and we are in another "spec ops mission"
I cannot describe how improved this game is over 1942 and how superior it is to Counter strike..
Sure it has vechs but they really serve no purpose in the game but to tangle in the main battle. The all handle and react like the real thing... Hell one well placed shoulder mounted missile will blow your tank to kingdom come! It is the elite players, the ones that join sqauds which make this game seem so real...however
You have your battalion of none sqaud members pushing for a point as your small elite groups hold key locations or wreak havok on the enemy! Its like real war, jesus......
anyways I am sure your all encountering such extreme team play.
I havent felt team play like this since the first Tribes...
I like to note that ATI radeon x850 will run this game on full graphics with high light effect, evry smooth and it looks like your playing doom 3!
