Try another blank DVD disc. Maybe the one you have is screwed up. It's happened to me a time or two burning just a regular CD. It's worth a shot.

Do your DVDs match your DVD burner, like are they DVD-R or DVD+R or do you have the right kind?

Or maybe you need to try different DVD burning software?

lol back in the day dell pissed me off too. finally i learned alot more and my computer is running fine with all new hardware and software installs. Their support sucks and I know more than they do! Sometimes when I called and they didn't know, I had to tell em what to do!
