Well guys if you ever checked out the link in my sig you know i edit wedding videos currently for a living. So this is one of my newest and better creations so far. Tell me what you guys think. http://www.dmbvideo.com/denis/candystore.wmv The video is footage of the groom preperations edited to some hip hop instrumentals (i'll let you guys guess what it is). Give me some feedback. BTW sorry for the large file 15mbs.

Nice video. I would want something of that nature when I get married. Its so much better than the boring wedding videos where someone is just filming everything even when nothing is going on. The first song runs a little long with the same beat over and over, but all in all its really nice. Good job.

yeah that song was dragging.. it's a new beat and unfortunately it doesn't change much. reason for picking it was the couple had an egyptian ceremony and the song had that flavour in it.

i like the transitions, but im not feeling the hole in the wall shots with the corners of the film kinda blacked out...
what camera are you using?

oh yeah that wouldn't pop up on a normal tv. it's the wide angle lens. camera is a Sony DSR VX2000.

Wow... u did a pretty awesome job with that vid... When I've seen wedding videos before..they were always so boring.. this is something pretty new and entertaining.. I'm also getting filming... did u get into school for this? or was it just a hobby?

no i went to school for multimedia, graphic design, video, audio, etc. there's a fair chunk in the industry with no schooling. yeah that's our whole aim to give a little mtv type twist to the wedding video. either you love it or hate it.
