I think this week I want to take a trip to NYC and spend the entire day there doing activities that deviate from my usual trips to the city.
I've always wanted to get a professional massage. I know a few of my friends have had them and they swear by them. There is a hollistic medicide Dr. around the block from whre I work but her rates are just too high for me to pay. I could just get a free one, but I've always wanted to experience one by a professional.
Last time I was In China Town in NYC, I notice quite a few "Massage Parlors". I was going to stop in but I was running short on time. I have a few questions that you guys can probably answer:
1) What is the going rate of a massage?
2) Should I go to a hole in the wall type of place? What am I going to expect?
3) Have you ever recieved a "happy ending" after getting a massage? How much extra is the charge, and is there ettiqute about asking if the provide that service?
4) If you know any place in NYC that you've been to, let me know.

I know I can find out for you...my boss and his friends used to go to these underground massage parlors in chinatown...and boy...they do give you Happy ending sloppy ending and dirty ending....ill hit u up when i find out...also they have a bunch in Montreal..my friend got a hand job after a massage for 15 dollars....but i don't know if they were under sanitary condtions...15 dollars is cheap...but im sure its more expensive but not tooo expensive..also the more firiends you bring you get a group rate...

If you're planning on going the rub and tug route, make sure to bring enough $$ cuz your mind won't be working to clearly with a hot naked chick in front of you.
Up here, base rates vary by time and by type of location. Parlours are a bit more expensive but you'll get the chance to choose the girl you want. Going to some chicks apartment is usually kind of grimy and too weird.
Anyway, rates are usually for 30, 45 or 60 minutes. I find 30 minutes too short and 60 minutes is a rip off. Get the 45 minute one, if it's not offered, ask for it anyway. 45 minutes goes for about 40-50$ up here. Just call up places and ask for a description and ask for a base rate. Do not discuss options on the phone.
Here are the most common options. You usually discuss them with the masseuse 10 minutes into your back rub.
Naked: extra $20
hand job: extra $20
thai massage: Extra $40 (very worth it!!)
bj or full: extra $80-100
never hand the $$ to the masseuse. just put it on the table.
i've got 1 professional full body massage once, for an hour. Think it cost around 70-80 bucks, but it was a gift, and wow was it nice!
