I'm asian but I think the whole "AZN PRYDE" thing is DUMB. I call people who claim this GHHEYYSIANS. You know people who put "Powered by Vietnam" or "Powered by Philippines" on their car. Am I the only asian that thinks this is ignorant behavior?

Everyone wants to be something. I'm a redneck...not white trash, not a racist but a redneck. So what. In the true sense of of the word I'm not as I don't come from cootervile or some hick town. I dress nice and have a high paying job. But in my heart I am a card carrying redneck. Wouldnt put it on my car though.
Any kind of pride is cool as long as it isnt used to justify bad actions or put down others. I hold people accountable for what they can change and what they actually do. Being white, red, yellow etc is all luck of the draw.

I'm Asian, I'm proud of it, but I'm sure many don't fully grasp the meaning. I mean, if you're filipino, well, so what? What does it mean to be a Filipino, that you speak a different language and you hang with other filipinos? I don't really think so. You must know your roots, you must know where you came from. You must know the mistakes of your people, and you must know the pain your people have suffered. For Asians to say "I'm azn and I'm proud because we're better" is about as irrational as "god bless america".
