Me too, for the most part. I don't understand why people (fans) get so crazy over whether their teams win or not. If they really want their teams to win, why don't they get in shape and go try out? How does your hometown's team winning or losing affect your day at all? Is your salary dependent upon your team's record? Will people beat you up if they lose? I just don't get it.

yeh dude, i don't give a fat fvck about sports here as well. ok your team wins big deal, i don't fvcking care. i got more important stuff to worry and talk about than someone missing a shot/catch.

that is an obvious non sports person answer. I cant understand how someone couldnt be into sports, I have grown up watching and playing sports my whole life, theres not one sport I wont watch, especially when it comes playoff time
if you aren't emotionally attached to a team then you don't understand what its like to watch your team win. i know several people who would give everything they had to watch the boston red sox win a world series.....when i watched them lose last year in the playoffs, people who i was watching the game with were soooo upset, some lady was crying too.

See, I've played sports (Soccer, Baseball, Hockey), and I totally loved playing them. I even understand enjoying watching them. I just don't get why people get so obsessed with their teams.
The only sport that I really enjoy watching now is nhb fighting (Pride, UFC, etc.). Part of the reason I like watching it is because I enjoy it as a sport, and part of it is because maybe I can learn something new that I can incorporate into my own practices.
Plus I like working out and being active.
I do really miss playing hockey, tho.
