To impress her?

Here's my story, 2 years ago I was talking to this one girl I knew for a while and I really wanted to hook up with her. She got off work one night with her co-worker friends and wanted to meet up with me for a casual dinner. Well it was almost time for her Senoir Prom and she was bumbed out because she didn't find anyone to take her yet so her and her friend were gonna go together. Being the dumbass I was and trying to be Rico Suave I told her that I was gonna take her and she was excited. I pretty much thought that if I took her to her prom (mine was 2 years earlier) I would have the cat in the bag. Well I went out and rented a tux ($150)

, bought a corsage ($25), Drove 20 miles to go pick her up, and another 10 miles to pick up her friend, and drove the 20 miles back to go take them to dinner with all her little chickenhead friends

. Pretty much I drove back and forth through three cities. Too make a long story short I paid for dinner for her and her friend and myself....and did something during the course of the night to piss her off and after the next day I haven't talked to her ever since. So basically I shelled out about $300 and my dignity

to hook up with a girl I really liked and got dissed majorly....

Moral of this story: Don't spend excessive amounts of money on a female IF SHE'S NOT YOUR WIFE, MOM, FIANCE' or GIRLFRIEND. End of Story.

Let's see...there was this girl in my Freshman Spanish class...mind-blowingly hot...said she was into guys who were secure enough to shave....So I shaved my legs. She said she liked it, but she wanted more...so I obliged. 2 weeks later, she won't say a word to me, and I've got the worst fresh-hair itch in the world.

Dumbest thing I did for a woman?

Drove 6 hours to spend a weekend with her...then realized I didn't like her, and dumped her a week later.

Talk about a waste of gas.
