ok, its all over the news here in san diego (duh). there are a grip of fires everywhere. now heres the thing...i work at a group home for abused kids, so there needs to be staff at all times. but there is a fire in the same town as where i work, but according to my bosses, its not even close to the facility. (on the other side of the town.) the fire marshall/firefighters have already blocked and closed one way to get into the town, the main streets, the main entrance. but the back way is available....my question is this....would you guys go into work, if there was a fire in the same town, but your boss said that its not near your worksite, and you aren't evacuating?

I'm sure they wouldn't want to put you in harms way and tell you to stay home if the fire was really close. But honestly, if you have a bad feeling about it, I would just not go. As the cliche goes, "It's better to be safe than sorry."
I can't even go outside if I wanted to. My asthma has been bad all weekend. The bad air quality outside isn't helping any.
i didn't go last nite...i don't want to drive all the way out there...its a freakin fire!!! fires do spread...they can't fire me for not going in, do ya think? its an act of god, so they can't, right? i think they arent allowed to do that, but im not sure
