Take it from me, I am a Army Brat, I was in the Navy and now I am leaving to Air Force Boot camp November 18. |
actually it all depends on your rank and the rank of the person your reffering to,
if your a Corporol talking to a Sgt. First Class you DO NOT call him soldier, He is just SGT. to you, and if you do call him soldier, he'll prolly slap the shit out of you.
Now if your an Officer talking to an enlisted soldier, (hint hint) you (by the book) may call him/her soldier, but out of respect this almost doen't happen, i/e the COL. will reffer to his Command Sgt. Major just as Sgt. Major, not soldier....
however if YOUR the private or whatever and an Officer or NCO talks to you, you will most likly be reffered as a soldier .... (ARMY) etc. but if they know you they will prolly call you Private ****** (yur last name) if you are a CPL or higher though they'll prolly just call you by your rank
