| That is the cabbage diet....Those 7 pounds you lose, you can lose on any diet...The fiurst 7 pounds are usually from water weight. If you choose to do the cabbage soap diet, I wouldnt stay on it for longer than those two weeks....The diets soup is very unpleasant, and the after affects from the soup is very unpleasant too. Lets just say that cabbage cleans you out. I have never been on that diet myself, but I do know of plenty of people that went on it.
I cannot believe that Atkins didnt work for you. You have to stick with it longer than 2 weeks, and you have to watch what you eat. With Atkins I have found that you lose inches first and then you start losing weight. My girlfriend lost 42lbs on a diet that is like Atkins...and I lost alot of inches and 5 lbs....She was on the diet for 1 year, and I was on it for 2 months...I felt great and started to look great too. It also helps if you goto the gym regularly, and do cardio. We werent on a strict atkins diet though, we would eat high protien and low carb. The only cards we would eat were fruits and veggies. I ate Bananas and Apples...and some veggies with my dinner. You lose the weight slower but you dont lose the ability to eat whatever you want within reason.
Have you tried Weight Watchers? I was on the diet for a while. You can lose alot of weight if you stick with the diet anf you excersize. You have to have the attitude that you want to lose weight, and you are going to be able to stick with the diet. If you dont feel that way, then you will end up cheating. Set yourself a goal and stick to it. |
