Indiglo gauges - needle colour?

Quick question to all who have installed indiglo or reverse indiglo gauges. I want to change my needle colour from orange to blue - or red, to match my reverse indiglo gauges. Any idea how to do this?

I haven't opened up my dash yet, can the orange paint be scraped off - or do I have to change the bulb?

Thanks.

I'm thinking it's going to look weird. I have one of those Sony ES CD decks with the motorized face. The controls are all blue and red - so they'll match my reverse indiglos very nice when I install them. I just think it would look weird to have orange needles!

Eventually, I'm going to convert pretty much every light in the car to blue or red. Just a matter of time, lots of work involved. But I think I can pull it off. Let's hope someone has changed the needle colour somehow!

I need to send you two the DIY I made up for changing the dash lights blue...send me an email and I will send it to you when I get off work, it will help you out a bit, as far as the needled color, that is a good question. It looked like the needled almost had an embedded peice of redish orange plastic in the clear portion of the needle. So off the top of my head, I would have to say the answer is no, unless you paint the needles themselves. I will send you guys the DIY and you can check out the needles for yourselves....Cool ??

On the instructions on my indiglos, it said to just use a felt tip pen to color the needles if you want to. Didn't have to, it looked nice on the blue or green background.
