Question about exhausts for 03 Civic

I just purchased a JDM rear axel Catback Exhaust Muffler. It hasn't come in yet, but i just realized there is a slight possibility of it being the incorrect part. I was planning on just attaching it because its bolt on and would just replace the last portion of the exhaust system. The question is, does the part i purchased that is for:
2001 2002 2003 HONDA CIVIC EX 2 DOOR
2001 2002 2003 HONDA CIVIC SI
2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 HONDA CIVIC EX 4 DOOR
work for a LX 4 Door? I am just replacing the last part and not all the pipes.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Question about exhausts for 03 Civic

lol......another "JDM" ebay type exhaust.

u wasted ur money man.

the fact that it says "SI" in there makes the WHOLE description false.

the civic EX and SI's (hatch) use two completely diff exhausts.

This is true... If it were a 2dr/4dr it would work fine. But saying its an SI it will only work with some cut and welding.

So will it not be able to be hooked on? or are the hooks fine but the length is too short or long? if it was too long or short wouldnt i just splice part of it out?

Re: Question about exhausts for 03 Civic

Just wait and see what you get, it's already paid and shipped anyway. No offense man but your going about this a little backwards - you search for fitment after buying then search for an answer before knowing the problem. Not trying to be a dick but you should definatly check the site before your next purchase. If you had looked around I doubt you would have bought an ebay muffler to begin with, GL with it anyway.

Re: Question about exhausts for 03 Civic

have a shop bend the hangers a bit so the muffler sits lower. or get longer rubber holders.

you can buy exhaust wrap, and wedge it between the contact points...

but gearbox's advise is best.
