Question need help !!

hey guys, i need help upgrading my stock 1996 civic cx D16Y7 engine.
right now i got 106 hp ( around ) @ 6200rpm... and i dont know the torque sry.
i want to upgrade it... NO TURBO PLZ and my budget is 500$-750$...
I know its not alot but right now im a colege student so im on a tight budget.
if i could get 120 hp that would be great
so yeah post you ideas and thanks in advance

google honestly. but the easiest way to make close to 120 would probably be a y8 intake manifold swap with a race header/exhaust and a nice intake. with a chromepro tune you can probably hit 120 without going past your budget. or up the budget a little and swap a integra LS engine in there, i would go that route. relatively cheap for what you get and it has way more potential to mod in the future.

thanks man ... i think i might do the swap if i can get a good deal on the engine... eventualy i want to buy a nice 4 door and realy pimp up my civic (15k$ or so) so yeah an upgradeuble engine would be nice thx

hmmm. i cheked for the engines and there pretty hard to find... I think il just try to trick out what i already have.

However I think you should vary more examples to your writing much more interesting !

Call Bisi to find out what cam you need to put you over the top. This will keep you under your budget and also put you over the power increase you are looking for.
