Scangauge 2 X-gauges for a 7th gen

In response to Scangauge 2 Custom Install and because my buddy has a digital gauge in his SC tsx, I started looking at digital gauges for the ride- just to know what the hells going on and have more information on performance and the operating conditions.

If you dont know what Scangauge is, check out there website:
http://www.scangauge.com/

If you dont know what x-gauges are:
http://www.scangauge.com/support/xgauge.shtml

So I hit up the Scangauge company to see what they were planning as far as Xgauges for our civic's (7th gen's more specifically). Our conversation is as follows:

ME:
I've been through your website several times and havent found answers to my questions.
First, does the gauge, or can the gauge, display Air Fuel ratios? (AFR)
Second, what X-gauges can be configured to run on my 2001 honda civic, MT. I saw a list on a PDF document, but it did not include any hondas.

THEM:
The X-Gauge features are vehicle specific, and we are still in the middle of developing more features for other vehicles. Although we have AFR for some vehicles, unfortunately Honda codes are not available right now. The only codes we have that you can add to your vehicle are O2 sensor, Horsepower, and fuel trim. You can find these at the top of the list of X-Gauge commands.

ME:
I'm looking at buying a gauge that can do my car good. I'm the
administrator of www.civicforums.com and we got several guys looking at this gauge hoping we can get some more codes for our 01-05 civic's. When can we expect Xgauges to be out- do you have any plans to put them out soon? Or, unfortunately, should we look at other gauges instead...? Thanks for your fast response!

THEM:
We do not have a timeframe for future X-Gauge features. A lot of the codes are difficult to put together, so we do not know exactly when we will have them ready. Some other gauges may have these features, but some may not. Our website will have a notice when we do make these new features available.

^the car is rated at 127 at the crank but you will never hit 127 stock on a dyno our cars tend to dyno around 90-95hp sometimes on a rare occasion 100hp unless your on church's dyno out in cali that runs extremely high for some reason.

but seriously I wouldn't waste my money on that just take your time and save up and get a K-pro. It will display all your sensors, you can hook a wide band in to it, you can datalog it, it will scan all your obd-II codes and tell you what they are(instead of just giving you a #). and It will make your car make more power, and if you tune it right you'll even get better gas milage.

and it's one of those things that if you get it you will never be disappointed that you wasted your money on it.

Kpro is cool and all, but unless your running a laptop on your passenger seat, then you cant see whats going on while your driving, which is a downfall- which is why i'm looking for another gauge thing to see whats up... it also tells your MPG's which i think is tight.

church's dyno is to the hubs..not to the wheels, so you gotta subtract around 10% to get what a dynojet gets.

the newer K-pro's can be set to datalog and record straight to the actual k-pro ecu and then at a later time you can download it to the laptop and view at your own convenience and you won't need to cary the laptop in your car at all times.

I know church's use's dynapacks and measures from the hubs so does Jeff Evans Tuning, and Jeff's do not read anywhere near as high as church's. And Jeff will tell you the same thing that church's dynapacks read high, even for dynapacks. So when comparing church's to a dynojet try subtracting around 15% possibly more.
