Is the universal muffler a bad idea? I'm not in this one for the 0.5 HP @ 6000RPM that I might get from a cat back system. I just want a nice stainless muffler that isn't going to rust or rattle? I don't really care if it's louder, or whatever, this is just looks. Will this one look bad?
Oh yeah, and I'm trying to keep the price down. Exhaust wasn't really in my budget, but I figured I would spend a little and dress up the tail pipe, the OEM tail looks kinda sad. I've tried chrome tips, but with the harsh weather around here I'm replacing them every year. They rust out, rattle, and look nasty after awhile.

Thats a good choice. I got the catback used for $250, yesterday finished installing it and it has nice quiet sound. I painted the muffler high temp flat for the stealth statis

the thing is, when you get that muffler, your gunna get raped by your local muffler welding shop. probably. but in some places, you may actually find it a good deal. another option for looks ive heard is to goto one of those places and get a very nice tip. they can cutt off your stock tip and weld on a nice stainless steel one.
why dont you take off your stock exhaust... and get custom piping done with the universal ws2 exhaust? piping is only 100 if you already have the muffler... 100+200=300

Well this is what I want to have done if it's worth it. I'm wondering if you all think it will fit properly if I have a shop put it on for me?
