why are spark plug wires so expensive?

am I looking at the wrong places I was looking for some spark plug wires for my 02 civic, and I was seeing prices in the hundreds, I know I am a dumb ass but please help me out To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

There are the plasma booster things. I cant find the link. Thats what you can upgrade, and they also have upgraded wires that go to those. What are the 4 things that go above the spark plug. I cant think of the damn word, so I cant find the site.

Ignition Coil, this type of ignition can be called direct, DIS (distributorless ignition system), Coil On Plug, among other things.
