lol. this the first muffler I bought for $100 off ebay.
Its SHIT!!!!! dont get it. Its not legal cause they dont give you carb sticker/paper like greddy does.
I changed from megan to greddy evo-2 catback in a week or so I beleive. Megan shit are all duplicates. Dont waste your money, just save up for the greddy. Trust me, you wont regret it.
But if you do have no choice than to get the megan one. Go for it. Its not that bad. Its a little too quiet. But definately you can hear it.
Greddy one makes a nicer tone and is louder. and it is street legal!

What about the HKS HiPower axle back exhaust. You will get about the same gains with that exhaust then a catback. I might be selling mine as well and its only one summer old.

actually, you dont gain shit on an axle back muffler. The only thing you do gain is sound.

I thought about getting a Megan when I was shopping around, but opted for the Tanabe for the quality and haven't regretted it yet. I read several reviews about the Megans having issues with rusting out within the first year. I don't mean to discourage you, but just wanted you to make an informed decision about your purchase. In this business of modding, you definately get what you pay for.

You'll gain as much with an HKS axle-back as you will with any catback. Sound and "tuner" appearance. I've yet to see any real quality products from Megan Racing. They're just like OBX and all those other "ebay" companies that just rebadge crap and sell it to ricers.

megan racing makes headers that were proven to be better than the DC's at a local racetrack dyno... they dont sell products but they recommend the megan products now over some other stuff

megan racing isnt as bad as you ppl think their parts are. i been using their hi flow cat/test pipe for almost a year now and loved it since day 1. my car is nearly slammed and whenever i hit, the megan test pipe would slam on the ground and its still surviving. i see no dents at all and still shining.

i would catergorize megan racing a step above the generic/knock-off products. greddy definately owns megan racing period.
