HKS Hi-Power Axleback......w/o resonator

Fit: 4.5......alittle low at first...had meinike adjust it for me

Power: 2

Loudnes: 4....loud, but in a good non-ricey way......alot deeper and more throaty...it helps not having a resonator either........

Re: Rate Your Exhaust

custom exhaust using flowmaster muffler
fit 5.0 fits great

power 3 kicks in at higher rpms 4k+

sound 3 perfect clean tone quiet when it needs to be louder at about 3k
i get tons of complements about the sound. i was planning on changing it and then my friends got super pissed off at me lol

HKS high power axle back.

Fit..4.5.. It fits perfect took 20 min to install but if your car is slammed it sits pretty low.Angle is cool but not for everyone
Power..3.5..seams to have smoothed out the ride.
Sound..5..Nice deep tone at 2-4 rpm not too loud at all just sweet!

paid $120.00 used

Re: Rate Your Exhaust

Greddy evo 2 - full ss
Fit - 5 (except when it rains, it rattles a lil bit)
Power - 5 (with stock, I could only go about 70mph then my car would sound like its about to blow up, now I cruise at 110mph easily, try doing that with stock)
Sound - 5 (Loud when it needs to be, been pulled over twice for it, and has a nice deep tone at 3500)

Re: Rate Your Exhaust

Greddy Evo 2 SS With Vibrant's Ultra Quiet resonator

Fit- 4 *I've had to return one because it fit too close where the bend was, I assume this caused both stok resonators to rattle inside. New hangars fixed te fitment*

power- 3 only noticeable above 4.3k

Sound- With the resonator it's a little louder than stock, but is still louder that my intake

Also with no resonator the exhaust sounded super rice, but the Vibrant UQresonator did away with it completely. I definately recommend it if you have ricey sounds.

Material - Full SS

price - around $550-600
pize size is like 2.37"
A'PEXi GT Spec Cat-back Exhaust System / Full SS

Fit - 2! (had to heat up and move a hanger / rubbed against the inside of my car behind the rear right wheel / cut into new bumper for tip)
Power - 3? (with just cat-back)
Loudness - 4! (sounds perfect for a cat-back / very deep like a sti)

All in all it's great except for the occasional rattling after starting the car, it's also 8 LB's lighter than the A'PEXi N1 along with being full SS instead of just the miffler being SS like the N1

to have an ex fit exhaust on an lx, would it work to use the ex header and so forth instead of having to buy an adaptor??

Greddy catback exhaust(3in tip)
Fit:-- 5(no rattle at all)

Loudness:--3.7(quiet just crusing around. Very loud in upper rpms.)

Mugen Twin loop

All i can say is its Mugen everything is fantastic. The sound is quite stock until vtec opens up then its quite noticeable. Welds are beautiful and of course quality is top notch!

Re: Rate Your Exhaust

My setup is all Megan Racing.
4-1 2.25" Header
2.25" Downpipe/Testpipe
2.5" Drift Spec Exhaust

Fit:4 Exhaust touches the body a bit under passenger seat, but its random as hell, headers and downpipe are perfect fit.

Power:4 You can feel the difference from stock header/downpipe.

Loudness:3.5 It can be loud if your at half to wide open throttle. You can hear my intake more than the header back exhaust.

Some pics:

^^ BTW I know this is exhaust thread but I also love my Megan Racing EP3/DC5 Rear Lower Control Arms.

^^ Not the best header shot but you see em.. kinda. And my ebay CAI, Skunk2 Engine dress up.
