I live in edmonton alberta and I would like to now if it would be safe to install a cold air intake on my car. I know you can buy the bypass system but I don't know if that would help. In edmonton we have snow on the ground for at least 4 months of the year and the filter is so close to the ground that I am worried that it would get wet or covered with snow all the time. If anyone else lives in a cold winter climate and has a cold air intake installed please respond and tell me how yours is preforming. thanx To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

if you get a cold air system, all you need to get is a by-pass valve so that you don't have to worry about the weather changing on you, sure it lessen the horse power, but it better than changing your cold air into a short ram everytime it rains or snows.
