I know this product's been mentioned b4, but I have one and am uneasy about the install with 2 sided tape... EVERYONE keeps telling me (except the Honda Body shop) that it will hold.. tsunami says they've never had one fall off... But Honda brings up a good point .. it COULD happen... and I had no idea that the civic hatchback's factory rear roof wing is actually drilled into the glass! I asked honda if they would see if they could do it with an after market part.. we'll see... Anyone have suggestions if they can't do the work??

i have one of the tsunami rear window wings and mine actually did pop off one day. but i think it was due to some noob actually painting the part where the 2-sided tape sticks to the wing itself and putting the tape on top of the paint ... it sounded like a gunshot when that thing let go ..i almost wrecked the car. still, it stayed on for more than a month and didn't do any signigicant damage to the wing as it spun in the street. if i get around to getting it repainted, i'll prolly put it back on the car, cause i liked the way it looked on there.
I have the Tsunami roof spoiler in my closet and that thing is heavy for double sided tape. So I too am also weary about putting it on and it flying of...

^ well i bought mine new for 120 bucks last year, so i'd say off 80-100 and see if he bites, specially since it doesn't look like he's gonna use it....
I had one on mine for a few months...it held on just fine. As a matter of fact, when I went to go take it off...I thought I was going to break my window because it was on there so good. lol

Sadly I haven't made up my mind just yet. I have a closet full of parts that some have been sitting there for almost two years. This spoiler I have had for about 5 months now. And in the next 5 to 8 months I am going to do a "makeover" on my car and this was one of the parts. So we will see and if I do sell it I will contact you first bro.
if the piece is at all functional (which im assuming its not) double sided tape is not gonna cut it. Even if it is only minimally functional (ie .5psi pressure difference) there is still a pretty good surface area on it, which will really put stress on it. double sided tape sounds like its not a matter of if it falls off but when it falls off. in the defense of the product, ive never used double sided tape for something like this, so im not sure how it really holds up, but just at first glance, it seems like it would need some more re-enforcement.

Last time I checked, our cars arent capable of mach speeds....double sided tape will hold just fine.
